Pakistan and the Digital Dilemna

Is it the right time to launch a digital dream in Pakistan at the moment? And if so, at what level should it be launched? Should it aim to become a back office operation for a foreign firm, or should it try and make a space in the marketing world in Pakistan? Has it been tried before, and if so, what has been the success of such firms? Is the market ready for new ideas? Are we ready to face the near unsurmountable obstacles involved in pitching new ideas in Pakistan?

How much missionary selling will we have to do before we decide to become part of the “market”? How off- market can we or should we be?


These are some questions that I will be challenging myself to answer, as we make our web page, enter our first pitches and build the team.
